The most essential documents for Indian travel
are passport and visa, along with their photocopies.
Passport
One of the two most important India Travel
documents to carry with you is your Passport.
Make sure to have this basic document with
you all the time. Before the trip starts,
check that0your passport is in order and will
be valid for the period of your stay. Otherwise,
get it renewed. If, by any chance, your passport
gets lost or stolen, immediately contact your
country's embassy or consulate in Delhi. And
don’t forget to inform the nearest police
station at the same time.
Photocopies
Don’t forget to keep photocopies of
your important documents for travel to India.
Keep them separate from the originals, in
case the originals get lost or stolen.
Visa
The second essential document for an Indian
visit is a visa. Only in case of Nepal, you
don’t need any prior visa. The only
requirement is of identification papers, and
visa is issued at the airport itself. There
are different types of visas for different
travel purpose. Make sure to apply for the
correct visa type, as per the purpose of your
travel.
As granting or rejecting visas is the sole
prerogative of the concerned sovereign governments,
the Company shall neither be responsible in
case of non-granting of such documents nor
liable for any delay, denial or other related
act/omission or for any loss, expense, damage
or cost resulting there from.
The position in respect of cancellation of
Tour by the Client due to non-availability
of travel documents would not change only
by virtue of the Client having applied for
such documents through the Company. Even if
visas are rejected, the stipulated fees of
the Company shall be payable by the Client.
There will be no refund to the Client or to
any member of his party, is unable to travel
due to the said reasons. In such cases, the
non-refundable deposit paid by the Clients
shall be forfeited and no claim whatsoever
shall be made for the same.
In the event that a client
is unable to travel on the tour originally
booked by him, due to rejection of visas by
the concerned embassy, the said client shall
have the option to postpone his tour to any
other future date or transfer his tour to
any other tour and in such case the transfer
fee for the transfer of the tour and / or
cancellation charges if any, shall apply.
However, if the Client books and pays within
the cancellation period and is unable to travel
due to any reason whatsoever including non-availability
of visas or any travel documents, the cancellation
policy will apply.
It is mandatory, convenient and safe to have
the Visa applications made to the concerned
Consulates / Authorities through the Company.
The Client should ensure
that he submits the relevant documents and
photographs within the stipulated time as
mentioned in the Documentation Check List
given to him at the time of booking of the
tour. Any additional information, details
and documents, the Client possesses to support
the visa applications should be made available
to the Company. The Company would not be responsible
in any way in case any clerical error regarding
names, attachment of wrong photographs, duration,
type of visa (single / multiple entry) occurs
in the consulate / embassy.
The Client shall be solely
responsible to check the visas, their validity,
details and the correctness thereof. In the
event the application for visa made by any
the Client or the Company on behalf of the
Client is rejected by the concerned Embassy
or Authorities due to inadequate supply of
information furnished by the applicant or
due to any other reason whatsoever, the Company
shall not be liable or responsible for the
same.
The cost of processing visas
is not included in your Tour Price unless
provided otherwise. The visa fee when prescribed
includes the actual visa charge, cost of processing
fees, the professional charges of the Company
and overheads.
If passports are required to be mailed for
visas / POE to different cities, company would
mail the passports by reputed courier. In
case of loss of delay of the passport arising
out of such transmission, company would not
be responsible to compensate the Client for
any loss whatsoever.

Sikkim and many states in the North East,
require special permits. Should these be applicable

Documents for
Indian visa:

Business Visa:

Student Visa:

Transit Visa:
It is meant for transit passengers only, to
enable them to travel through India to reach
the ultimate destination.
Missionaries Visa:
This visa is for people coming to India to
act as missionaries.
Employment Visa:
Meant for skilled professionals or those people
who have been appointed by Indian companies,
organizations, firms, etc.
Journalist Visa:
Professional journalists and photographers
visiting India should apply for the Journalist
visa.
Conference Visa:
It is issued for attending conferences/seminars/meetings
in India.
Research Visa:
For research purposes, a research visa is
issued.
Entry Visa:
It is given only to persons of Indian origin
or the family members of a person employed
in India.
